Hot Chillys Pepper Skins

Minnesota winters are long, REALLY long.  Over the years I've learned that the only way to get through them, and actually enjoy them, is to be warm.  Now that I have kids, that's proven to be even more important.  The idea of being stuck inside with young kids all winter is not going to make for a very happy me.  As the saying goes...if momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.  I seemed to have passed this "always cold" gene along to one of my daughters.  This year we came across pair of Hot Chilly's Pepper Skins in "flower power" (top and bottom) for her and she loves them.

She wears them to bed, when she plays outside in the snow, and sometimes under her school uniform.  They are very comfortable and warm- but not too warm. "Pepper Skins are constructed with 100% micro denier polyester allowing moisture generated from your body to pass through with little to no absorption, keeping you warm and dry." They are rated a 6 in warmth, and while I don't know exactly what that means, I know it's perfect for the activities my daughter does. They are lightweight, easy to wear underneath other clothes (no complaints that she is feeling to bunchy). Great bonus: just wash it and throw it in the dryer, added washing increases loft and softness. Perfect for this house!
