Sierra Design's Boy's Toaster Jacket. Perfect for Spring!

Spring is just around the corner and once again my son has outgrown his coat from last year.  Spring in Minnesota means sleet, rain and wind.  Hey, we will welcome it since it means no more subzero temps!  Sierra Designs Toaster Jacket is perfect for those conditions.  It is waterproof, yet breathable.  Very important for a very active 6 year old boy.  The sleeves are not constricting and allow for great movement, a big must when your days are spent outside playing catch!  I think my son's favorite part of this jacket is the hood. For some reason hoods are very popular with kids these days and this one is great.  It has a drawstring closure for those windy days and is easy for little hands to manage.  My son also thinks the pocket on the arm is a pretty cool place to store his favorite action figure.  I love the length of this jacket.  It is long enough that he never has to worry about a cold lower back from the jacket creeping up, this is especially great when he is climbing.  This jacket is lightweight, 18.5 ounces to be exact, which comes in handy when he needs to store it in his backpack, and it comes out wrinkle free and looking good still!  I would say it isn't quite warm enough for our very cold winters, but it is great once above freezing.
